New turntable decoder RB5510 already available!
Do you remember how we announced hot news for the fall? The first of them - Turntable decoder RB5510, is already avaliable!
This product is designed for modellers who want to conveniently control the model turntable in DCC system, and at the same time expects something more than just basic control of the bridge movement.
What is the new decoder capable of?
The RB5510 is designed to work with the popular Fleischmann® and Roco® turntables in H0, TT and N Scales. 6052, 6651, 6652, 9152, 6152, 6154, 6152, 6154, 35900 and 42615 with the possibility of setting up to 24 positions.
Importantly, the RB5510 also offers automatic bridge polarization change, making decoder setup even easier.
Not just movement – also light and sound!
The RB5510 has two dedicated outputs for controlling the lighting of the bridge and Booth, and an external speaker output.
The sound is automatically played at the start and end of the movement and during the operation of the turntable.
The decoder has pre-loaded sounds and the ability to change them yourself via a micro USB port.
Classic control or smooth movement:
The RB5510 allows turntable to opperate in two ways.
In the "Basic mode", the turntable is controlled in a classic way, which causes a characteristic "click" when the bridge is moving.
The "Extended mode", on the other hand, allows you to move the bridge between positions without a "click". Additional feedback modules are required to use this mode.
However, not all positions should be equipped by additional feedback sensors, the decoder will simply switch to the classic "click" when rotating to basic position.
RailCom® and LocoNet
The decoder supports RailCom®, and thanks to the LocoNet connector, it can also transmit information about the occupancy of the platform and the address of the locomotive located on the bridge. In combination with the RailBOX: Railroad Control application, the configuration and operation of the turntable become even easier.
The application allows you to configure the position of the bridge and convenient control of the turntable directly from the layout map.
